Its probly in here someplace but whats the OS of choice now on the new builds, give windows 8 a fiddle in Harveys the other day but fook mi Couldnt get the hang of it.

Haven't tried 8 but from what boyz have said round here i'd leave it for now...

Just re-instated the Start button and its just like win7 now. Happier now than I was when I first tried win8.

I run windows 8 and find it better than windows 7, but I guess it depends on how you like your desktop and start menu set up.

The biggest thing I had to get use to was the start menu! Lol. All the "apps" etc. But once you get use to it it's way better than the normal start menu I reckon. They're pretty easy to customise and remove any you don't want

Also has lots of little tweaks that I find just make it better than windows 7
- You're able to see more current system performance info right from the task manger
- You can pause file transfers and see what the transfer rate is while its doing it
and other little things like that.

One thing I have found is that if I had the External Drive plugged in, it would interfere with it. That's about it.
You might be having the same problem?
