If your running 1 monitor a 2gb card is plenty , won't see any improvement with a 4gb with 1 monitor really , if you have a couple monitors at high resolutions then yeah prob go with the 4gb , the 2gb would prob hold up with 2 monitors anyway , with a slight frame drop over the 4gb.

Don't count anything i say as gospel though ,im retarded... just my opinion lol Orange_Colorz_PDT_06

I go against the grain of every computer literate person on earth proofy on the last two builds I have done, go to whirlpool, Toms Hardware, Ezy's vault of opinion and knowledge and they will all say you don't need X and you don't need that much X and you don't need to spend X and more than likely they are right and get by comfortably but for me I choose 4gb over 2gb or 16gb over 8gb or 1250w over 500w or Sound activated LED lights and Neons over a candle and Sennheiser over Logitech and Samsung over Viewsonic and anything that says Black over anything that says Green you get the idea, but that isn't because I know better or I know it makes a difference it's because I am willing (or stupid enough) to spend the money on higher priced items that may indeed have no visible/noticeable advantage over a cheaper option but if there is any advantage I have it and its because I want my PC to handle anything I throw at it, games, GFX, Video Rendering etc. and I want it to handle it for a long time without having to replace stuff or upgrade anything and If for some reason it didn't perform I wouldn't be left wondering if the other part would have been better. But like I said general consensus is that's a stupid way to do it man and plenty of people get by nicely with 2gb instead of 4gb and except for GTAV (if its like 4 was) I cant see any games that are going to push anything anyway.

*Summary*

Be like me and buy red LED's to make your PC faster and future proof yourself with a 1250w PSU in case you need to run your fridge with it

or get yourself what will be more than good enough and cheaper and put what you save into a second card down the track or some form of substance to abuse Wink
