Thought id post this for future reference, its a fix for China Rising. I had a pc melt down other week, had BF backed up but China Rising wouldn't play, told me i didnt have it

Quote:
1. Log out and fully exit Origin
2. Open your Registry Editor - Type in regedit on the Start Menu Search field and press Enter
3. Navigate through HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > EA Games > Battlefield 4
4. Check if there is a folder named Xpack1 under Battlefield 4
If YES -> Click on Xpack1, on the right pane check if there is a string named Installed, the Value data should be True
If NO - right-click on Battlefield 4 > New > Key
- a new folder will be created, name it Xpack1
- right-click on Xpack1 > New > String Value > name it Installed
- on the right-pane, double-click on Installed, set Value Data to True

5. Exit Registry Editor
6. Log in to Origin and Join China Rising Maps

If Necessary:
7. Repair Install BF4
8. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies then login to Battlelog
9. Join China Rising Maps

If you keep getting a plugin wanting to install and doesn't work and are using IE 11;

Select the security tab from the internet options window

Deactivate server verification (bottom tick box) and add http://battlelog.battlefield.com to the list of trusted sites, then activate server verification again.

Restart IE and try again

K I figured it out now , if anyone else has this problem :

Goto "start" , regedit ,

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

SOFTWARE

Wow6432Node

Ea games

Battlefield 4 ,

If there's no folder named " Xpack0 " right click battlefield 4 and select new key , name it " Xpack0 "

Now right click Xpack0 and create new string value , call it " Installed " , right click that and the value should be " True " .

Restart game , should be fixed. Make sure you close game and origin down before you do it.
