heya guys, I really want to get back into pc gaming again and to do so I want to upgrade, I even have permission from the Mrs! as long as I don't buy it all at once lol. I'm a bit rusty on it all and the products out there now are huge compared to what I have now. so here's what I'm thinking and id really like to hear your advice etc.

CPU: Intel Core i7 3820

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 Motherboard

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-1600C9Q-32GXM 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3

GPU: 1 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC Edition 4GB

HDD: Intel 520 Series 180GB SSD
Western Digital WD Red 2TB WD20EFRX

OS: Microsoft Windows 8 Pro 64bit OEM

Case: http://www.aerocool.us/strikex/strikex_st_black.html

And I will water cool it again probably with what I have now, and use the power supply as well, Enermax revolution 85+.
Thanks guys!

Looks pretty smick to me , except for windows 8 :-& , hoping to be upgrading in the next month or 2 aswell , but my budget is bugger all till i get ahead again , so will only be spending under $1000 , then i'll just go overboard with my next system.

was looking at something like this as i cbf building , and fking sh1t up , having sh1t not work etc.

any other suggestions?

Ezy is running windows 8 even though its not on a tablet... Razz He will be able to tell you how it is, haven't heard him rage at it so cant be that bad Wink

Can't complain with the price bish I guess its just a case of whether any new games will push it but that looks unlikely any time soon, except maybe gtav Wink

I hate you, you made me buy win8 to run that racing game that still doesn't have multiplayer!

win8 is ok for a tablet or media pc, for a desktop pc with a mouse and kb its crippled.

bish, buy it only if it comes supplied with the M1A2!

so I've been doing some research into the 2gb and 4gb cards and what I can understand you only need the 4gb card if you are running high resolution and multiple screens, does that sound right?
